This is a 120+ line Excel spreadsheet that helps you estimate how long it will take to develop a course. It contains all the phases in the ADDIE model, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation with heavy emphasis on Development. You enter the number items (pages, objectives, etc.) and how long for each one and the spreadsheet does the rest calculating minutes, hours, and days of effort. You can set the number of hours in a day. It contains the numbers for a typical course with a 20 page body and a 10 page test plus supporting pages (welcome, objectives, menu, summaries, test results, popups). You can add lines for tasks not already included.
